1. What this service is

Ziopps is a public, search-first directory of scholarships, research funding, fellowships, internships and other development opportunities relevant to African applicants. We are a discovery layer, not the application authority: every listing links to its official source, and the official source is always the final word on eligibility, deadlines, selection and outcomes.

2. No warranty on listings

We check listings against their official source and show when each was last checked. Even so, information here may be out of date, incomplete, misattributed, or wrong by the time you read it. We do not guarantee the accuracy, availability, or outcome of any opportunity listed. Before applying — and especially before sending money or documents — confirm the details on the official source. Use this site at your own risk.

If you find something wrong, please report it.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, mirror, or republish the directory in bulk. Reasonable manual browsing and sharing links are fine; automated harvesting is not. We rate-limit abusive traffic.
• Submit false or malicious reports, impersonate anyone, or try to get around sign-in or admin controls.
• Interfere with the service’s operation — attempting intrusion, denial-of-service, or probing for vulnerabilities without authorisation.
• Use the service in a way that breaks any applicable law in your jurisdiction or ours.

We may suspend or remove any account that violates these rules. If you are a security researcher and spotted something, please contact us before publishing.

4. Accounts

Browsing requires no account. Signing in (through Google) gives you a private Saved + Applied tracker and notifications for records you follow. One account per person. Keep your Google credentials secure; we never see or store your Google password.

You can delete your account at any time. Deletion is immediate and permanent.

5. Third-party content and links

Listings describe opportunities offered by third parties (universities, foundations, employers, government bodies, programmes). We are not affiliated with those providers unless we say so, and we do not endorse any of them. The provider’s own terms govern any application you make through their site.

6. Our content

The way we structure, describe and present listings — our editorial summaries, taxonomy, trust signals, interface and code — belongs to us and our contributors. You may read, share links to, and quote short excerpts for personal and non-commercial purposes with attribution. Everything else requires permission.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. The “last updated” date at the top reflects the current version. Material changes to how we treat account data are also reflected in the Privacy policy. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised terms.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we provide the service “as is,” without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for losses arising from your use of it — including missed deadlines, rejected applications, actions taken on inaccurate information, or interruptions to availability. This does not limit any rights you have under consumer-protection law that cannot be waived.
